Craft

From yarn to roll

Every step is traceable. Yarn, weave, dye, finish and QC stay aligned with the garment factory calendar.

Production steps

Standard bulk takes 4–6 weeks. Express can compress to 18 days.

01 · Yarn

Lock fiber and count

Yarn is matched by hand, strength and cost. Long-staple cotton, mulberry silk, flax and merino sit in supplier files with batch traceability.

02 · Weave

Set construction and density

Woven and knit run on separate machines. Sampling starts at 20–50 meters to confirm construction, density and shrinkage before bulk.

03 · Dye

Lab dip, then bulk match

Lab samples hold ΔE ≤ 0.8. Reactive, vat and acid dyes follow the fiber. Customer shade matching is supported.

04 · Finish

Hand and function in one pass

Pre-shrink, soften, water-repellent, wrinkle-resist and singe are combined by use. Home and apparel stay on separate lines.

05 · QC

Four mill standards

Colorfastness, shrinkage, weight and visual defects are logged per roll. Grade A ships. Grade B is disclosed.

06 · Deliver

Rolls, labels and logistics

Paper tubes, meter marks and batch codes ship together. East China in 2 days, with partners covering major apparel regions.

Quality

Leave uncertainty in sampling. Give bulk what is already confirmed.

Color, shrinkage and hand — the usual failure points — move into sampling. Bulk only repeats confirmed parameters, which cuts factory rework.

Working path

Designer brands, garment factories and home brands share one process.

WEEK 0

Brief

Season, weight, use and budget. Start from stock, or specify fiber and construction.

WEEK 1–2

Swatch / lab dip

Color cards and hand swatches ship out. Yarn or construction changes go to the lab.

WEEK 3–6

Bulk

Machines and dye lots lock after the order. Progress is weekly. Mid-checks are available.
